How to Receive Support via Microsoft Quick Assist

Microsoft Quick Assist is a secure tool that allows IT support to remotely view or control your computer to help resolve issues.

Steps to Get Support Using Quick Assist

1. Open Quick Assist

• Press Windows Key + Q and type Quick Assist, then select it.
• Alternatively, go to Start > Windows Accessories > Quick Assist.

2. Get Help

• In the Quick Assist window, click Get assistance.
• Our IT support engineer will provide you with a 6-digit security code.

3. Enter the Code

• Type the code in the box and click Submit.
• Wait for the connection to be established.

4. Grant Permission

• You’ll see a prompt asking if you want to allow screen sharing or full control.
• Click Allow to proceed.

5. Stay Connected

• Keep Quick Assist open while the IT engineer works.
• You can end the session anytime by clicking Stop sharing.
